Abstract

Em França. A Toxicomania - o consumo de drogas a desmontagem das condições sociais que a ele levam, bem como as reacções, o «arsenal legislativo de repressão» e todas as consequências sociais por ele provocadas é do que nos falam, muito objectivamente, neste artigo, Zafiropoulos e Pinel. Os autores referem ainda a contestação provocada por esse consumo e as polémicas geradas à sua volta nomeadamente o facto da toxicomania poder provocar (ou acentuar) um novo capital cultural, uma nova forma de estar no mudo (pondo em causa as formas tradicionais) ou antes se, com todas as suas causas e efeitos, faz apenas aumentar a delinquência juvenil.
