Este trabalho analisa as relações entre as variáveis Cooperação, Orientação Motivacional e Clima Motivacional e as suas dimensões em atletas de modalidades desportivas coletivas e nele é feita uma revisão bibliográfica do tema. Participaram no estudo 116 atletas e utilizaram-se as seguintes escalas adaptadas à população portuguesa: Cuestionario de Cooperación Desportiva, Motivational Climate Scale for Youth Sports (MCSYS) e o Questionário da Orientação para a Tarefa e para o Ego no Desporto (TEOSQp). Nos resultados, comprovou-se uma relação estatisticamente significativa entre Orientação Motivacional e Cooperação. Ao estudar as dimensões da Cooperação, a Orientação Motivacional para a Tarefa teve uma relação estatisticamente significativa e positiva com a Cooperação Incondicionada, enquanto que a Orientação Motivacional para o Ego teve uma relação também positiva com a Cooperação Condicionada. Apesar de não se ter sido verificado uma associação estatística entre Clima Motivacional e Cooperação, constatou-se uma relação estatística significativa e positiva entre a dimensão Clima Motivacional para a Tarefa e Cooperação. Relativamente às dimensões do Clima Motivacional, o Clima Orientado para a Tarefa apresentou uma relação estatisticamente significativa e positiva com a Cooperação Incondicionada e a Condicionada, enquanto que o Clima Orientado para o Ego não teve qualquer relação estatística com a Cooperação nem com estas duas dimensões. Confirmou-se ainda um efeito de mediação parcial do Clima Motivacional para o Ego na relação entre Orientação Motivacional para a Tarefa e Cooperação com o Treinador. No final são apresentadas as conclusões, as limitações do estudo, as implicações práticas e sugestões para futuras investigações nesta área.

ABSTRACT: This work analyzes the relationships among the variables Cooperation, Goal Orientation and Motivational Climate and its dimensions in athletes of collective sports modalities and in it a bibliographical review of the theme is made. A total of 116 athletes participated in the study, and the following scales were adapted to the Portuguese population: Sports Cooperation Questionnaire, Motivational Climate Scale for Youth Sports (MCSYS) and the Task and Ego Sports Guidance Questionnaire (TEOSQp). In the results, a statistically significant relationship was verified between Goal Orientation and Cooperation. When studying the dimensions of Cooperation, Goal Orientation for the Task had a statistically significant and positive relationship with Unconditional Cooperation, while Goal Orientation for the Ego also had a positive relationship with Conditioned Cooperation. Although a statistical association between Motivational Climate and Cooperation was not verified, a significant and positive statistical relationship between the Motivational Climate for Task and Cooperation dimension was found. Regarding the dimensions of Motivational Climate, Task-Oriented Climate presented a statistically significant and positive relationship with Unconditioned and Conditioned Cooperation, while Ego-Oriented Climate had no statistical relationship with Co-operation nor with these two dimensions. A partial mediation effect of the Motivational Climate for the Ego on the relationship between Goal Orientation for the Task and Co-operation with the Coach was also confirmed. At the end are presented the conclusions, limitations of the study, the practical implications and suggestions for future investigations in this area.
