Eficiência das psicoterapias breves de orientação existencial

Abstract

ABSTRACT: Problem: due to the current social and economic situation, there are many pressures to limit the temporal psychotherapeutic interventions in order to reduce costs. Thus, it is essential to understand if brief therapies are effective and therefore their response to customer´s needs. Objective: to assess the efficiency of brief existential orientation psychotherapies in institutional context. Method: CCI analysis through phenomenological method of research and quantitative analysis of the CORE-OM and PQ, on 4 participants over 10-13 psychotherapy sessions. Results: in general there have been changes in all participants (CCI), however these changes were not statistically significant (CORE -OM) or linear for all subjects (PQ). Conclusion: brief psycotherapies produced changes in the subjects, but a fixed number of sessions doesn´t seem to be beneficial to all customers.
