Potencialidades da metodologia de trabalho de projeto com crianças dos 4 aos 6 anos

Abstract

O presente trabalho insere-se no âmbito da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, para a aquisição do grau de mestre em Educação Pré-escolar. Este estudo baseia-se na interpretação de um modelo curricular para a educação pré-escolar, mais propriamente a metodologia de trabalho de projeto, a partir da perspetiva das crianças, da educadora e dos pais das crianças. Para tal, e suportados num conjunto de técnicas e de procedimentos de caráter qualitativo, que incluíram as produções das crianças, questionários aos pais e uma entrevista semiestruturada à educadora de infância titular do grupo e nossa supervisora cooperante, procurámos compreender o contributo desta metodologia para o desenvolvimento e aprendizagem de crianças dos 4 aos 6 anos, a partir da realização de um projeto de ação com as mesmas. Em síntese, o estudo indica-nos que a abordagem de projeto, operacionalizada num projeto de ação, constitui uma metodologia privilegiada no desenvolvimento e aprendizagem das crianças.
