Abstract

A Economia Circular (EC) consiste numa abordagem estratégica e operacional baseada na redução, reutilização, recuperação e reciclagem de materiais e energia (Comissão Europeia, 2015). A EC potencia o valor e o tempo de vida útil dos produtos, materiais e recursos na economia ao mesmo tempo que valoriza os recursos renováveis e recicláveis, através do conhecimento aprofundado de processos tecnológicos, ambientais, socioculturais e económicos ligados à economia.
