Abstract

O principal objectivo deste estudo de investigação é compreender aprofundadamente o conhecimento profissional de dois professores de Ciências da Natureza, 5º ano, sobre a unidade didáctica “A célula - unidade na constituição dos seres vivos”, particularmente os tipos de conhecimento. Deste modo foi realizado um estudo de caso, do tipo instrumental, com dois professores do ensino básico, 2º ciclo do ensino básico, variante de Matemática e Ciências da Natureza, designados por professor João e professor Miguel, tentando identificar os seus tipos de conhecimento a partir das suas práticas de sala de aula. A partir destes tipos de conhecimento adaptou-se o instrumento de Ball et al. (2008), às Ciências que apresenta seis dimensões do Conhecimento Profissional: o Conhecimento Especializado do Conteúdo, o Conhecimento Comum do Conteúdo e o Conhecimento do Horizonte das Ciências (Conhecimento do Conteúdo) e Conhecimento do Conteúdo e do Ensino, o Conhecimento do Conteúdo e dos Alunos e o Conhecimento do Conteúdo e do Currículo (Conhecimento Pedagógico do Conteúdo).
