The theoretical assumptions of W. Iser clearly demonstrate the profound relationship between what is visible and what is intelligible when Hermeneutics comes into action. However, scholars «who quickly noticed the trace of husserlian phenomenology in the work of the theoretician from Constanza» have hardly paid attention to the gestaltist substratum that can also be observed in his work. The objective of this contribution will be to develop these principles present in Iser’s Hermeneutics and to exemplify them in some literary texts.
