El conjunto arqueológico del Parque Infantil de Tráfico de Córdoba. La ocupación del suburbium occidental de Colonia Patricia-Corduba

Abstract

En este artículo se darán a conocer los testimonios arqueológicos recuperados en el actual Parque Infantil de Tráfico, que son de gran interés para profundizar en el estudio del suburbium occidental de la ciudad en épocas romana y medieval. La ocupación tardoantigua corresponde a un edificio y una necrópolis de los que se han identificado varias fases. El periodo islámico supone un nuevo uso del terreno marcado por la presencia de un arrabal de época almohade, mientras que se documenta la inexistencia de construcciones durante el periodo emiral y califal en este sector extramuros. Los periodos bajomedieval, moderno y contemporáneo están propuestas por vertederos y pozos, que subsistirán hasta la construcción del Parque Infantil de Tráfico en la segunda mitad del siglo XX.

In questo articolo ci occuperemo dei resti archeologici rinvenuti nel “Parque Infantil de Tráfico”, che sono di una particolare rilevanza per approfondire nello studio del suburbium occidentale della città. L’occupazione tardoantica corrisponde ad una costruzione e alla sua necrópolis delle qualle abbiamo identifi cato due fasi diverse. Il periodo islamico suppone un nuovo uso dello spazio con la presenza di un quartiere almohade, mentre che in questo settore non ci sono documentati costruzioni nel corso del periodo emirale e califale. Poi, nell’epoca bassomediev`le, moderna e contemporanea si fanno dei pozzi e apparkno alcuni immondiziai che sussisteranno fa no alla costruzione del parco infaltile nella seconda metà del XX secolob.
