Abstract

El documento es un manual de prácticas de la asignatura Sistemas Tolerantes a Fallos para el Grado en Informática, centrado en la programación de microcontroladores ESP32 con el sistema operativo FreeRTOS. El primer bloque introduce la encapsulación de código mediante la creación de módulos de software reutilizables para el control de sensores de temperatura, sentando las bases de la modularidad del sistema. El segundo bloque aborda la arquitectura Duplex, utilizando dos sensores redundantes para detectar fallos por discrepancia. El alumno debe implementar una máquina de estados que intercala tareas de comprobación periódica, permitiendo al sistema transitar de forma segura entre modos de funcionamiento normal, degradado y de error crítico según la desviación medida. Por último, el tercer bloque enseña a implementar la Triple Redundancia Modular utilizando tres sensores y un algoritmo votador lógico a nivel de bits. Se diseña una solución avanzada capaz de aplicar máscaras de bits para ignorar variaciones irrelevantes, logrando aislar un sensor defectuoso para alertar de su reemplazo sin detener el proceso, o parar el sistema ante discrepancias críticas generalizadas. Este material se ha elaborado en el marco del Proyecto de Innovación Docente "Diseño de prácticas utilizando dispositivos empotrados reales para Tiempo Real", de la Universidad de Córdoba
