This article will analyze the possibilities of strikes in the struggle for a healthy environment. In recent times, environmental defense organizations have called on citizens to express their dissatisfaction with the environmental situation by means of global strikes. For this reason, we ask ourselves, first of all, whether these are genuine strikes. Then, based on the conviction that the defense of the environment is also a class interest, we admit the viability of environmental strikes. Finally, we address questions concerning the possibility of political-environmental strikes and the interrelationship between this type of strike and the growing protection of the right to freedom of enterprise.
