A morphometric study was carried out in a sample of 127 foals, 86 of Spanish breed and 41 of the Arab one. They were subjected to the some conditions of feeding and control in order to determine in each breed the mean values at birth as for height, length, thoracic capacity and osseous thickness as well as the reach of development with regard to its adult size. Finally are correlated the morphometric parameters that were obtained with the age of the mare, number of birth and days of gestation and having found high correlations among the morphologic variables also analysed according to the age of the mare. And therefore the number of birth with the most part of the zoometric variables.
