Morfoestructura del caballo árabe en España

Abstract

The morphometric study is referred to 24 parameters in 105 individuals which suppose the 10.5 p. 100 of the analysis of the structural caracteristics responsible of the external appearance, as well as the sexual differences (t Student test). The study of correlations allow the identification of interactions among the different body regions, in order to explain the selectiva criteria which have contributed to shape the Arab horse as it is nowadays. The use of multifactorial analysis of principal components has made possible the estimation of those parameters with higher importance in the structural definition of this horse.
