Abstract

El empleo del diámetro del tallo de C. ladanil"er se ha mostrado superior al de otras dimensiones, para predecir el peso de las plantas. La ecuación más conveniente es: Y = 1.010 X2.067; ( r2 = 0.896, P.= 0.001). La predicción del peso de la masa2 foliar, por planta, se obtiene me- jor a partir del volumen de la copa (r = 0.739, P-c0.001). Aunque el empleo de varias dimensiones de la mata, para establecer ecuaciones de predicción, mejora la bondad del ajuste, es preferible utilizar una sola, por ser más fácil de obtener en el campo.

Regression equations between several plant measures and total or foliar weight of plants of Cistus ladanifer were fitted. Although multiparameter equations account for most of observed variation in total weight, the monoparametric one2s0he ol more practical value, and specially stem diameter (Y= 1.0010 X ; r = 0.896; P"=:0".001) therefore is prefered. Foliar predictirs are less accurate. The best predictor of foliar mass is plant volume (r= 0.739).
