Consanguinidad en el toro de lidia

Abstract

Se ha estimado la consanguinidad de cinco ganaderías de toros de lidia a partir de las genealogías de hasta siete generaciones, así como sus coeficientes de variación y las correlaciones entre los valores de F para distintas profundidades de las genealogías. Los resultados obtenidos se comparan con los de otros autores para concluir que el valor más probable de consanguinidad actual puede oscilar, para F, entre 0112 y 0113. Se estudia también en dos ganaderías el índice de integridad y su posible influencia en los valores de F.

Five herds of fighting caatle were examined about the inbreeding. Inbreeding coefficients from pedigrees traced-back as far as seven ancestral generations were calculated. Also was ,obtained the variation coefficient and the correlation between differents F values, and their respectively pedigree depth. We conelude that estimate value of F is equal to 0112-0113. Finally, with data from two herds, the influence of the completeness index on F values was studied.
