Abstract

This article presents a diachronic study of music in various study plans. which have over time become the keystone in what were known as Normal Schools', that is to say the Education Faculty, centred in the University of Cordoba. The above mentioned Schools have always attempted to find an apprapriate balance between cultural content. teacher training and teachíng practíce, although this will provoke considerable controversy as to which of lhe three aspects deserves primacy. To be brief, we will only deal with the following Plans 45, 50, 67 and 71, until (we reach) the Reform of the Education System in place today.
