Abstract

El sector artesanal en Andalucía constituye una realidad sociocultural y económica compleja en cuyo análisis es pertinente profundizar. Su estudio es susceptible de ser abordado de manera combinada desde una óptica patrimonialista, económica y empresarial y desde nuevas propuestas políticas que contemplen la participación de los actores directamente implicados. El objetivo debe ser diseñar políticas que se apoyen en sus potencialidades y actúen sobre sus principales deficiencias. Se han integrado diversos métodos y técnicas de investigación, cuantitativas y cualitativas, entre las que el trabajo de campo etnográfico se ha revelado de particular interés

The handcraft sector in Andalucía represents a sociocultural and economic complex reality whose analysis is worth deepening. We can present its study from a patrimonialist cultural point of view, as well as economic and managerial one, and new proposals that bear in mind the involvement of the concerned actors. The objective must be to design policies relying on their possibilities and exercising on their main weaknesses. Some research methods and techniques have been integrated, quantitative and qualitative, being of particular interest the ethnographic field job.
