Abstract

La inducción de la diferenciación de células troncales mesenquimales (MSC) en adipocitos supone un complejo y altamente organizado programa de expresión génica. Son muchos los estudios realizados en este campo con el fin aumentar el conocimiento del desarrollo de la adipogénesis, incluyendo todas las vías y factores que influyen en la determinación de que las células MSC se diferencien en adipocitos. La comprensión del proceso adipogénico y su regulación tiene una gran relevancia para el conocimiento de los procesos implicados en enfermedades como la obesidad y la diabetes, las cuales en los últimos tiempos son consideradas como epidémicas a nivel mundial. Con el objeto de profundizar en el conocimiento del proceso de diferenciación adipogénica, en el presente estudio hemos determinado mediante expresión diferencial a nivel de transcriptoma, genes, funciones moleculares y vías metabólicas implicados en el proceso de diferenciación de MSC a adipocitos in vitro. Los resultados muestran como la vía del factor de transcripción PPARγ es la que principalmente se activa durante la adipogénesis.
