Oxidación selectiva de hidrocarburos aromáticos, en fase gaseosa, catalizada por fosfatos mixtos vanadilo-aluminio

Abstract

El objetivo principal de la Tesis, ha sido la síntesis, por un método sol-gel, nuevos catalizadores de vanadio-aluminio-fósforo en los que se han modificado la relación molar Al/V (0.2¿2); la sal de vanadio de partida (VO3Cl y NH4VO3) y el tratamiento térmico (450¿750ºC). Asimismo, se han sintetizado, a modo de referencia, sistemas vanadio-fósforo. Con el fin de determinar la influencia que dichas variables tienen sobre su composición, propiedades texturales, estructurales, ácido-base y redox, se han caracterizado los sólidos empleando numerosos métodos como: análisis termogravimétrico; análisis elemental y superficial por espectroscopía emisión atómica y energía dispersiva de rayos-X, respectivamente; la determinación de las propiedades texturales, a partir de las isotermas de adsorción¿desorción de nitrógeno; análisis estructural por difracción de rayos-X, espectroscopia de resonancia magnética nuclear de ángulo mágico de los núcleos 31P, 27Al y 51V, espectroscopia ultravioleta-visible y microscopia de barrido electrónico; las propiedades ácido-básicas por adsorción de piridina y la reacción modelo de 2-propanol; y las propiedades redox mediante la técnica de termorreducción programada. Por último, se ha evaluado el comportamiento catalítico (actividad, selectividad y estabilidad) de los sólidos en la oxidación selectiva de hidrocarburos aromáticos en un reactor de lecho fijo y flujo continuo, en línea con un cromatógrafo de gases, que permite el análisis simultáneo de todos los productos de reacción, incluidos óxidos de carbono. Los hidrocarburos empleados, benceno, tolueno y o¿xileno, nos han permitido realizar un estudio sobre la influencia de los grupos metilo en la reactividad del anillo aromático.
