Abstract

[ES] En el Mioceno superior (Turoliense inferior) de Crevillente 2 (Alicante) .se encuentran tres tipos de quelonios que testifican interfluvios en clima c?lido. El m?s abundante corresponde a machos, hembras e inmaduros de Testudo catalaunica. Tambi?n hay Testud?nidos gigantes, Cbeirogaster bolivari, y un tercer quelonio de talla normal, no identificado.

[EN] Three Chelonian forms have been found in the Upper Miocene (Lower Turolian) of Crevillente 2 (Alicante, Spain). The more abundant form is represented by males, females and immature specimens of Testudo catalaunica. A giant Testudinidae, Cheirogaster bolivari), and a third chelonian of normal size, not identified, are also reported.
