Abstract

[ES]Las provincias de Salamanca y Zamora se han convertido en un primer plano en los estudios especializados, por la riqueza que presentan de quelonios f?siles: Pelomed?sidos, Aleoqu?lidos y Trion?cidos. Los hallazgos de restos de quelonios, a los que acompa?an siempre cocodrilos, son tan frecuentes y han tomado tal importancia, que est?n tipificando paleontol?gicamente la provincia salmantina.

[EN]The provinces of Salamanca and Zamora have become the fore in specialized studies, the wealth that have fossil chelonian: African helmeted, and Trionic Aleoqu?lidos. The findings of remains of turtles, which are always with crocodiles, are so frequent and have taken such importance, which are typified paleontological the province of Salamanca.
