Interacción, medios interactivos y vídeo interactivo

Abstract

[EN] The appearance of Interactive Video has made the use of terms such as interaction or interactivity frequent. Interactive Video results from the fusi?n ot two powerful electronic media: the video and computer science, and combines the power for evoking the image with the capacity for dialogue (interactivity) of the computer media. Consequently, it tends to form real and Increasingly sophisticated situations of communication and thus, of interaction. It could seem that interaction-interactivity has been brought to teaching by this powerful technology. However, concern for achieving interactive audiovisual media has been constant in the field of media designing. Interactive video should, then, be considered a consequence of the evolution of interactive media, conceived as being able to involve the student actively in the instruction program. Interactive video contains many possible configurations which range from simple video sets to complex systems integrated by video, computer, peripheral equipment, etc. It also contains different conceptions of Interactive Video. All these aspects are dealt with in this study, together with the technological and didactic foundations on which this m?dium is based, with the concern for achieving interactive media in the field of teaching, with the many apllication of Interactive Video and with the perspectives which seem to be taking shape.
