Nuevos yacimientos de quelonios fósiles en Coca (Segovia), y su significado estratigráfico

Abstract

[ES] Se describen dos quelonios gigantes encontrados en Coca (Segovia) y que han sido clasificados como "Testudo bolivari", H-Pach. Se observan algunas características peculiares que los diferencian de otros ejemplares de la misma especie. Varios cortes estratigráficos y consideraciones sobre los cambios laterales de facies en la zona concretan nuevos conocimientos sobre el Pontiense inferior del borde sur-oriental de la Cuenca del Duero.
