Abstract

La biblioteca universitaria necesita una ?ptima gesti?n para desarrollar de manera conveniente sus servicios. Se estudian los principales elementos que intervienen en la gesti?n de las bibliotecas universitarias : los recursos humanos y los recursos econ?micos. Previamente se analizan las caracter?sticas y funciones de este tipo de bibliotecas y las estructuras administrativas en las que suelen organizarse las bibliotecas universitarias. Se tratan tambi?n otros aspectos, como la planificaci?n, los ?rganos de gesti?n, los indicadores de rendimiento, el presupuesto, los ingresos y gastos o la evaluaci?n. Se pretende ofrecer un panorama global de la complejidad de la administraci?n de las bibliotecas universitarias y de los m?ltiples aspectos que intervienen en sus gesti?n.
