Lenguaje inclusivo y sexismo en la lengua

Abstract

This work focuses on the linguistic phenomenon of gender inclusive language and its social dimension, attempting to demonstrate that interest in this topic goes far beyond its purely linguistic aspect. The fundamental arguments for and against it will be examined, essentially in spanish, along with a reflection on linguistic sexism and the role of the norm in the conception that speakers have of their own language. Additionally, the study will explain how and why gender inclusive language is used in various fields, such as academia, politics and digital media.
