Abstract

[ES]La escuela donde se han formado generaciones de personas en el correr de los tiempos ha ido produciendo una cultura material, y forjando todo un ritual que escenifica espacios, tiempos, organizaci?n, curr?culo y utillaje escolar. El inter?s cient?fico por este legado hist?rico nos adentra en el muse?smo pedag?gico, cuyas primeros antecedentes podr?amos situarlos en las grandes exposiciones universales del siglo XIX, m?s en concreto en la de Londres del a?o 1851, y posteriormente en la de Par?s. En Espa?a esta corriente cristaliza en 1882 de la mano de Manuel Bartolom? Coss?o con la creaci?n del Museo Pedag?gico Nacional, en lo que es una apuesta decisiva por el estudio y las mejoras de las condiciones escolares, de los materiales y did?ctica de la ense?anza, o el impulso de nuevas teor?as pedag?gicas, que se trunca con el t?rmino de la II Rep?blica.
