Abstract

Nuevos e importantes descubrimientos sobre el Diálogo das Grandezas do Brasil, obra anónima escrita en 1618, y su más probable autor, el cristiano-nuevo Ambrósio Fernandes Brandão, salen a la luz a partir de documentos recientemente encontrados en el Archivo General de Simancas en España y el Arquivo Nacional da Torre do Tombo en Portugal. En el presente texto se comentan estos nuevos hallazgos que arrojan luz sobre la biografía de Brandão.
