Aprendizaje integrado: un modelo para acercar al estudiante al enfoque biopsicosocial en psicolog?a

Abstract

Actualmente los profesionales del ?mbito sanitario asumen el modelo biopsicosocial como el m?s adecuado para comprender los complejos procesos implicados en la salud y la enfermedad. Especialmente relevante lo es para el ejercicio de la psicolog?a (Hatala, 2012). Sin embargo, obtener informaci?n de todos los determinantes implicados en la conducta plantea un serio desaf?o profesional que exige adoptar una perspectiva multidisciplinar. La psicolog?a, en los ?ltimos a?os, est? experimentando una profunda transformaci?n resultado de los avances en la neurociencia y en las t?cnicas de neuroimagen que est?n aportando informaci?n muy relevante sobre el funcionamiento cerebral y su relaci?n con el comportamiento. Consecuencia de ello es una importante extensi?n en sus ?mbitos de aplicaci?n a contextos impensables d?cadas atr?s (ej. la neuro arquitectura, la realidad virtual, las terapias psicol?gicas on-line, etc.). Esto refuerza, a?n m?s, la necesidad de que los psic?logos posean competencias y habilidades para integrar y aplicar eficazmente las diversas fuentes de informaci?n en su trabajo cotidiano. La integraci?n del conocimiento se convierte m?s en un imperativo que en una estrategia complementaria.
