El Congreso Sanitario de Brighton y su Influencia en las Colonias Escolares Madrile?as de Bernardo Giner.

Abstract

[ES] El texto se propone, en primer lugar, constatar la deficiente situaci?n higi?nico-sanitaria de los barrios madrile?os donde habitaban los ni?os d?biles y ?pretuberculosos? que hab?an de poblar las colonias escolares. En segundo lugar, se busca confirmar la asistencia y el grado de participaci?n de Bernardo Giner en el congreso celebrado en Brighton en 1932, determinando lo m?s exactamente posible las circunstancias que rodearon a dicho evento: objeto del mismo, organismo convocante, asistencia, etc. Asimismo, se pretende analizar la arquitectura escolar de Brighton, visitada por Giner en 1932, y delimitar la influencia que ella pudo ejercer en el trabajo posterior del arquitecto, especialmente en su faceta de proyectista de colonias escolares del Ayuntamiento de Madrid. Para ello, ser? obligada la consulta de las actas del congreso, o documento an?logo, cuya localizaci?n se conf?a a los buscadores al uso de internet. Por ?ltimo, y para rastrear las posibles influencias de la arquitectura escolar propia de Brighton en la obra posterior de Bernardo Giner, ser? necesario el conocimiento de sus colonias escolares, bien sea en su materialidad construida, en su planimetr?a, o en ambas formas si fuera posible.
