Abstract

La necesidad de formaci?n de los docentes sobre el trastorno del espectro autista y herramientas de trabajo como las historias sociales, es una realidad que est? presente en la sociedad actual, puesto que la heterogeneidad de las aulas es muy amplia. No obstante, se aprecia un d?ficit de herramientas al alcance de los docentes que les facilite trabajar las habilidades sociales y comunicativas, entre otros aspectos, con este tipo de alumnos. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo principal estimar los conocimientos que tienen los futuros profesores de educaci?n infantil y educaci?n primaria acerca del trastorno del espectro autista y, m?s concretamente, sobre la aplicaci?n de las historias sociales. La finalidad de estudiar los conocimientos que poseen los estudiantes de magisterio es apreciar si los planes de estudio de las universidades facilitan la informaci?n suficiente sobre los temas elegidos para la elaboraci?n de la presente investigaci?n. La metodolog?a empleada consiste en el an?lisis de los datos de los programas universitarios, as? como el an?lisis de los datos de los conocimientos del alumnado de magisterio obtenidos mediante una encuesta. Los resultados reflejan una escasez de conocimientos sobre las historias sociales de este grupo poblacional, as? como la necesidad de aumentar su comprensi?n sobre el trastorno del espectro del autismo, con el fin de adquirir las herramientas que les permitan fomentar el desarrollo integral de sus futuros alumnos.
