Abstract

[ES]Los gr?ficos de control son herramientas estad?sticas muy ?tiles para estudiar la evoluci?n de las enfermedades en los pacientes. En este caso se han aplicado a un paciente diab?tico, de manera que se ha podido monitorear variables como la glucosa en sangre, la insulina administrada o los carbohidratos ingeridos, a lo largo de cuatro meses. As?, se ha comprobado qu? d?as se encontraban fuera de control, pudiendo estudiar sus causas y ayudar al m?dico y al enfermo a adaptar el tratamiento.

[EN]Control charts are very useful statistical tools to study the evolution of diseases in patients. In this case they have been applied to a diabetic patient, so that it has been possible to monitor variables such as blood glucose, ad ministered insulin or ingested carbs, over four months. Thus, it has been checked which days were out of control, being able to study their causes and help the doctor and the patient to adapt the treatment.
