Antifranquismo intelectual en C?rdoba

Abstract

This paper shows the first results of our research on the emergence of a Christian-Marxist line in C?rdoba in an unprecedented way throughout Spain. For this we have used our object of study: the Praxis magazine, whose five issues (1960-1961) confirm the existence of said symbiosis. Its rapid diffusion in the national anti-Franco scene is a clear symptom of the impact it generated thanks to the quality and novelty of its texts, especially among the university sectors of Madrid and Valencia. Authors such as its founder, Jos? Aumente Baena, Carlos Castilla del Pino or Nicol?s Sartorius ?among others? place Praxis as a propitious space for anti-Francoist dialogue from different perspectives. Therefore, we consider a detailed study of the magazine is justified, which, until the first conclusions that we present today, has not been undertaken. Therefore, Praxis constitutes a crucial transforming agent for the understanding of Cordovan anti-Francoism and, ultimately, the creation of the ?Juan XXIII? Cultural Circle.
