[EN]The alarming data on poverty made the global community focus on fighting this important inequality. One of the data thatsheds light on the problem is the number of foods that, although they are currently discarded, could be used by those with low resources. If 50% of the food in good condition, which is discarded, were used, hunger in the world could be alleviated. In addition, this use would lead the world to a more sustainable use of resources, and consequently to a reduction in the damage exerted on the planet. The importance of this problem is such that it is included in the 2030 Agenda. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, the REFOOD initiative appears in Spain, specifically in the district of Tetu?n, in Madrid. This organization aims to collect food in good condition, which will be wasted by restaurants and shops, to take it to soup kitchens, through a team of volunteers. This solidarity initiative lacked technological support, so in this work a PWA application has been developed that can support them. This application allows restaurants to report their surpluses so that volunteers can pick them up and take them to the soup kitchen. In addition, the application is responsible for managing the different types of users (restaurants, volunteers, soup kitchens and administrators), food, transport, statistics and incidents. All this in compliance with data protection regulations and following a friendly design for all types of users. This system, in short, could reduce food waste, also fulfilling such an important task as helping the most vulnerable groups with their daily diet.
