Abstract

Se pretende dar respuesta a la pregunta ¿considera el profesorado que el entorno rural favorece el desarrollo del currículo infantil? La contextualización teórica se ha llevado a cabo mediante un estudio bibliográfico y la indagación mediante una metodología cualitativa. La técnica de recogida de datos ha sido la entrevista, de la cual se obtiene una gran cantidad de información muy enriquecedora. Se cuenta con la colaboración de cuatro docentes que trabajan en un aula con niños de 3 a 6 años en una escuela rural. El instrumento de análisis de los datos es el árbol de categorías y subcategorías. Finalmente, la información recogida debe responder a los objetivos y a la pregunta de investigación y sacar conclusiones como que todos y cada uno de los saberes básicos del currículo del segundo ciclo de educación infantil se desarrollan en el alumnado de infantil en el medio rural, el cual aporta, a su vez, grandes beneficios en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje.
