Abstract

Introducci?n: Gran parte de los casos de infertilidad femenina se ven asociados con factores como por ejemplo patolog?as endocrinas o la edad. En cambio, existen otros que pueden corregirse, pudiendo condicionar de manera favorable o perjudicial. Existe un gran inter?s y la necesidad de estudiar m?s sobre el impacto positivo y negativo del estilo de vida de la mujer en la fertilidad y as? aumentar las tasas de fecundidad y de ?xito en TRHA (T?cnicas de Reproducci?n Asistida Humana). Objetivos: Analizar y sintetizar la evidencia cient?fica disponible sobre aquellos estilos de vida relacionados con la fertilidad de la mujer. Metodolog?a: Se realiz? una b?squeda en PubMed, ScienceDirect, EBSCO y Google Scholar, de estudios, revisiones y art?culos publicados hasta 2017, tanto en ingl?s como en castellano. Resultados: Los h?bitos de consumo de tabaco, alcohol y drogas, la ingesta excesiva de cafe?na, la exposici?n a estr?s y ansiedad, el contacto con diferentes t?xicos como el bisfenol A as? como la obesidad son factores perjudiciales para la fertilidad de la mujer pudiendo alterar hormonas, el ciclo menstrual y el endometrio, entre otros efectos. Conclusiones: El hecho de que la mujer tome conciencia, a partir de los profesionales sanitarios, de la gran cantidad de efectos negativos que pueden tener ciertas sustancias en su capacidad reproductiva es esencial para evitar inconvenientes y problemas a la hora del intento de concebir, del desarrollo de t?cnicas reproductivas o en el proceso de embarazo.
