[ES]El presente trabajo mostrar? la historia de la Biblioteca General Hist?rica de la Universidad de Salamanca en la Edad Moderna y sus precedentes. Su objetivo estar? centrado, principalmente, en el estudio de sus libros, tanto su evoluci?n a lo largo del tiempo como su sistema de adquisici?n, arquitectura, personal y reglamento con el fin de comprender la evoluci?n hist?rica de la biblioteca en relaci?n con la historia universitaria.
[EN]This work will show the history of The General Historical Library of the University of Salamanca in the Modern Age and its precedents. His objective will be focused, mainly, on the study of its books, both their evolution over time and their acquisition system, architecture, staff and regulation in order to understand the historical evolution of the library in relation to the university history.
