Typologie des emprunts linguistiques français en roumain

Abstract

[EN]The aim of this study is to review the great influence that the French language has exerted unto the Romanian language during the XVIIIth, XIXth and XXth centuries as well as nowadays. We analyse the loanwords based on the linguistic changes that occur on the phonetic, morphologic and semantic levels of the Romanian language. The persistence of the Frenchs loanwords in the contemporary Romanian is tested through a study of the fashion semantic field from a press article dated 2018.
