Abstract

[ES] La ciencia abierta es una necesidad. M?s all? de una intenci?n altruista o de una recomendaci?n pol?tica, la apertura del conocimiento se ha transformado en una obligaci?n ?tica, que dispone de un respaldo legal. La producci?n cient?fica no puede concebirse sin el acceso abierto de datos, recursos y resultados. Las entidades financiadoras de la investigaci?n potencian el conocimiento abierto como el medio definitivo para el avance de la ciencia. El acceso abierto se concibe como un ecosistema donde la investigaci?n se organiza a partir de diferentes elementos que interact?an entre s?, formando partes de un todo. Este libro refleja de manera determinante las diferentes facetas de la ciencia abierta, ya que en el desarrollo del acceso abierto intervienen agentes humanos, sem?nticos, tecnol?gicos y operativos. La monograf?a re?ne colaboraciones de autoras y autores de universidades y centros de investigaci?n de Espa?a y Am?rica Latina en torno a los distintos ?mbitos del acceso abierto, que se han estructurado en sucesivos bloques tem?ticos: entorno, investigaci?n, servicio, innovaci?n y desarrollo. La obra resulta ?til para conocer las bases te?ricas del conocimiento abierto, as? como su estado de la cuesti?n, pero tambi?n sirve de referencia para informarse sobre proyectos de ?xito, soluciones tecnol?gicas adoptadas por universidades en sus plataformas de ciencia abierta y reflexiones sobre pol?ticas, tecnolog?as, procedimientos y administraci?n de datos abiertos, repositorios institucionales, investigaci?n participativa o pol?ticas cient?ficas de ?open science?, ?open knowledge? y ?open access?.
