Abstract

La adherencia terap?utica se puede definir como la conducta que adquiere el paciente a la hora de tomar la medicaci?n, cambiar su estilo de vida, seguir una dieta etc. En la actualidad, la baja adherencia a los tratamientos es un problema de gran magnitud. Toma importancia en el caso de los enfermos oncol?gicos, el c?ncer es una enfermedad que trae consigo numerosos y variados s?ntomas, no ser?a posible su adecuado control sin un cumplimiento correcto del tratamiento por parte de los pacientes. El objetivo principal del trabajo ha sido comprobar la adherencia al tratamiento en un grupo de pacientes oncol?gicos y describir cu?les son los errores que cometen a la hora de tomar la medicaci?n. Para ello se ha dise?ado un estudio piloto, descriptivo observacional transversal. Seg?n los resultados obtenidos llama la atenci?n el bajo porcentaje de pacientes que se adhieren al tratamiento. Los errores m?s comunes se relacionan con olvidos, complejidad del tratamiento y abandonos, que coincide con la literatura consultada.
