Este trabajo presenta unos primeros resultados sobre la evaluaci?n del modelo de protecci?n de la propiedad industrial en la Comunidad Andina de Naciones. Se analiza el r?gimen com?n de propiedad industrial y su aplicaci?n en cada uno de los pa?ses miembros de la Uni?n. As? mismo, se analizan las normas internas de los pa?ses andinos. Se concluye se?alando algunos obst?culos normativos, pol?ticos y econ?micos que desvirt?an las pol?ticas de integraci?n de la CAN e imposibilitan la creaci?n de una patente comunitaria andina. Para realizar este trabajo se analiz? la normatividad comunitaria y la legislaci?n interna vigente sobre propiedad industrial en la Comunidad Andina de Naciones. Se revis? la bibliograf?a e informes t?cnicos sobre innovaci?n y propiedad industrial de la regi?n, los programas nacionales de innovaci?n, as? como los indicadores de patentes.
This paper presents the first results of research aimed at evaluating the model industrial property protection in the Andean Community of Nations. The common system of industrial property and its implementation in each of the member countries of the Union is analyzed. It also analyzes the internal rules of the Andean countries, and concludes by pointing out some political, economic and regulatory hurdles that undermine the policies of integration of CAN, and preclude the creation of an Andean Community patent. Andean legislation and the domestic legislation on industrial property in the Andean Community of Nations were analyzed. We reviewed literature and technical reports on innovation and industrial property in the region, national innovation programs and indicators patents.
