Un modelo de interoperabilidad basado en ontologías para Repositorios de Objetos de Aprendizaje

Abstract

[ES]En la actualidad, la mayoría de los repositorios implementan Dublin Core (DC) como estándar de metadatos, permitiendo la aplicación del protocolo de Recolección de Metadatos (OAI-PMH: Open Archives Initiative - Protocol for Metadata Harvesting). Sin embargo, DC no es el estándar más apropiado para la descripción de objetos de aprendizaje, lo que hace necesario recurrir a otros estándares. El estándar Learning Object Metadata (LOM) surge como el más adecuado para la descripción de objetos de aprendizaje. Asimismo, surgen otros estándares tales como Common European Research Information Fomat (CERIF), Metadata Object Description Schema (MODS), entre otros. Esta variedad de estándares hace que la interoperabilidad entre los repositorios sea cada vez más compleja. La mayoría de las soluciones, hasta el momento, proponen adoptar un estándar de metadatos e incluir los metadatos necesarios para poder ser cosechados. Este trabajo presenta una solución basada en ontologías para la interoperabilidad entre repositorios que utilizan diferentes metadatos en la descripción de sus objetos.
