Abstract

[ES]La obra Polisemias visuales recoge diferentes trabajos que han sido elaborados por un conjunto de especialistas de Ciencias de la Documentaci?n, Comunicaci?n, Educaci?n, Bellas Artes e Inform?tica y se ocupan, desde perspectivas y enfoques diversos, de la alfabetizaci?n visual en las sociedades multiculturales. Su objetivo es difundir los resultados del proyecto de investigaci?n Habilidades y estrategias para la alfabetizaci?n visual en entornos interculturales, auspiciado y financiado por la Fundaci?n Samuel Sol?rzano Barruso de la Universidad de Salamanca en la convocatoria del a?o 2010. Para desarrollar este proyecto de investigaci?n, se constituy? el Equipo Alvisual, en el que se re?nen especialistas procedentes de las universidades p?blicas de Salamanca, Zaragoza y Vigo, con la finalidad de reflexionar ? desde perspectivas interdisciplinares? en torno a la alfabetizaci?n visual, focalizando el estudio en la detecci?n de las habilidades necesarias para poder comprender la informaci?n gr?fica en distintos contextos y formatos de transmisi?n.
