La literatura infantil y juvenil en las plataformas de pr?stamo de libros electr?nicos en bibliotecas p?blicas

Abstract

Se analizan y evalúan las principales plataformas de préstamo de libros electrónicos en bibliotecas públicas. Se pretende verificar si una de las razones de las bajas cifras de lectura digital en niños y jóvenes se debe, entre otras razones, a la escasa oferta de contenido digital en las plataformas tecnológicas de gestión de préstamo en bibliotecas. Para ello se contextualiza el libro electrónico y más concretamente la literatura infantil y juvenil en formato digital, en las bibliotecas públicas, y se definen cuestiones generales sobre las plataformas de préstamo de libros electrónicos. Tras la introducción del tema y un plan metodológico desarrollado, se analizan las principales plataformas y se aportan una serie de conclusiones y perspectivas de futuro.
