Abstract

[EN]The present article describes some of the main results obtained by the author in the last years together with hitherto unpublished findings concerning the planktonic foraminifera of the western sector of the Guadalquivir basin. Reference is made to the main events recognized in the region from the upper Tortonian to the lower Pliocene. A chronostratigraphic diagram is offered of all the sections studied up until the present.
