Abstract

[ES]Se hace un planteamiento de los antecedentes del programa ISBD desarrollado por la IFLA, cuyo origen pr?ximo est? en la Reuni?n Internacional de Expertos en Catalogaci?n de Copenhague de 1969. Se estudia el proceso de elaboraci?n de la ISBD(M) hasta llegar al desarrollo de la ISBD(G) y, a partir de ?sta, las primeras ISBD espec?ficas: (M), (CM), (S), (NBM), (PM) y (A). Se exponen los debates suscitados a lo largo del proceso y, finalmente, se realiza un estudio de la estructura de la ISBD, analizando los principales aspectos en los que estas normas basan su eficacia.
