Abstract

En el manejo del dolor pedi?trico, se promueven nuevas t?cnicas no farmacol?gicas, con el objetivo de mejorar la calidad de vida de los pacientes siendo complementarias a los tratamientos farmacol?gicos. A pesar del creciente uso de nuevas t?cnicas para el manejo del dolor existe una escasa utilizaci?n de estas en el ?mbito pedi?trico. Para conocer la realidad actual sobre el uso de estas terapias, se llev? a cabo una revisi?n sistem?tica de la literatura publicada sobre el tema ?Manejo del dolor a trav?s del juego? durante los ?ltimos 10 a?os, siguiendo el formato PICO se utilizaron las siguientes palabras claves: ni?os, oncolog?a pedi?trica, control, dolor, terapia de juego y su conversi?n en DECs y MESh. La lectura cr?tica de los art?culos encontrados se realiz? con la plantilla CASPe para revisiones sistem?ticas y AGREE para gu?as cl?nicas La investigaci?n demuestra que este tipo de terapias parece ser muy beneficiosas, principalmente para disminuir experiencias de dolor, ansiedad y depresi?n en oncolog?a pedi?trica, pero por el momento no hay muchos estudios cient?ficos que confirmen su eficacia. Se concluye que ser?a conveniente llevar a cabo m?s estudios sobre estas terapias y protocolos de intervenci?n estructurados para esta poblaci?n.
