[EN]The paper analyzes the Spanish Church and its relations with other powers under the reign of Juan I of Castile. It examines both decisions by the monarchy on religious matters and the influence of the Church in the political life of the kingdom. In particular, it studies the case of the Diocese of Salamanca.
