Abstract

[ES]El texto corresponde a la Leccio?n Inaugural del curso de graduacio?n de la Facultad de Derecho del Largo de Sa?o Francisco ? USP, impartida el 17 de febrero de 2014 (peri?odo diurno). El autor aborda las reformas de base, centro de la disputa poli?tica del Gobierno del Presidente Joa?o Goulart y cuya exigencia condujo a la ruptura del re?gimen democra?tico brasilen?o y a la implatacio?n de una dictadura militar durante 21 an?os. Como resultado de la no realizacio?n de las mencionadas reformas de base, el re?gimen militar adopto? una poli?tica econo?mica que au?n perdura, 50 an?os despue?s, como fundamento de la acumulacio?n capitalista en Brasil.
