Dificultades en la Implantación coclear

Abstract

[ES] Introducción y objetivo: Tras 25 años de experiencia distinguimos dos grupos de pacientes frente a la cirugía de implante coclear, en función de la dificultad de los casos. Discusión: Presentamos diferentes situaciones de patología de oído medio, malformación de oído interno y neuropatías, que suponen una dificultad en esta cirugía. Conclusiones: Aconsejamos derivar a centros experimentados en casos difíciles de implante coclear los casos complejos. [EN] Introduction and objective: After 25 years of experience, we distinguish two groups of patients compared to cochlear implant surgery, depending on the difficulty of the cases. Discussion: We present different situations pathology of middle ear, inner ear malformation and neuropathies, which create difficulties in this surgery. Conclusions: We suggest referral to experienced centers in difficult cases of cochlear implant complex cases.
