Abstract

El desarrollo de las tecnolog?as de la informaci?n y la comunicaci?n ha modificado radicalmente las vidas cotidianas de los seres humanos y su manera de relacionarse con el entorno. As?, en el entorno educativo aparecen nuevos retos y necesidades formativas relacionados con este contexto novedoso. Como una de estas necesidades emergentes surgen las competencias informacionales, que agrupan todo lo que tiene que ver con la capacidad para el acceso, evaluaci?n, procesamiento y comunicaci?n de la informaci?n disponible, que es en la actualidad pr?cticamente infinita.En este entorno es razonable pensar en la importancia de la formaci?n del futuro profesorado de educaci?n b?sica en este tipo de competencias. El presente estudio muestra el dise?o, implementaci?n y resultados de un curso de formaci?n aplicado sobre una muestra de 36 futuros profesores de Educaci?n b?sica, estudiando el M?ster Universitario en Profesor de Educaci?n Secundaria Obligatoria y Bachillerato, Formaci?n Profesional y Ense?anzas de Idiomas en el curso 2011-2012. Los resultados muestran la alta motivaci?n del futuro profesorado hacia el aprendizaje de este tipo de competencias, su consiguiente demanda de formaci?n en este aspecto, que consideran deficitaria, y la gran satisfacci?n de los alumnos que finalizan el curso.
