Abstract

[ES] El transito de la sociedad industrial a la sociedad de la informaci?n y del conocimiento implica importantes cambios en las organizaciones, en los servicios de informaci?n y de los profesionales. En este nuevo contexto son necesarias nuevas competencias profesionales, buena parte de ellas ligadas a la formaci?n permanente, pero tambi?n nuevas actitudes y aptitudes; se demanda un mayor compromiso que permita aportar un valor a?adido a la propia organizaci?n y a la sociedad en general. Partiendo de las consideraciones ?tico-profesionales de cualquier responsable de un servicio de informaci?n, que quedan recogidos en los diferentes c?digos deontol?gicos de instituciones y asociaciones profesionales recogemos las nuevas responsabilidades profesionales que demanda el nuevo contexto social y tecnol?gico y su aplicaci?n a los servicios e informaci?n juvenil y al ciudadano
